A gentle reminder for Sundays...

A gentle reminder for students and professionals who are sulking like me on a Sunday night, wondering where the day went and looking at our barely ticked-off to-do lists...

I was feeling down all night because I pretty much did nothing on my Sunday to-do list. Fortunately, the wiser part of me decided I won't get anything out of sulking. I took a semester of Tai-Chi in college, and one of the wise things the teacher reminded us frequently was to smile from the inside. I always imagine it as this:

I don't know about you, but just seeing that in my mind naturally relaxes the tension on my face. And before I knew it, my cheeks were lifted into a smile. Whoever invented the smiley face is a genius. Imagine a wall of smiley faces like these at your workplace or office. Wouldn't everyone be just a wee bit happier? :-)
